Joe Timmerman is a freelance photojournalist from Cincinnati, Ohio. He recently graduated from Ohio University with dual degrees in visual communication and journalism. Joe is the 2023 summer photography fellow at The Texas Tribune and previously completed a photojournalism internship at The Cincinnati Enquirer. His work has been recognized by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the National Press Photographers Foundation, the Ohio News Photographers Association, and the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences Ohio Valley Chapter.
